Prompt #5
I would apply the current use of technology by my students in my classroom by having a social, digital classroom on Edmodo. On Edmodo, my students and I could post and create assignments, make a calendar, and upload photos and messages. This would help achieve the educational standards identified by ISTE in my classroom because students will use their technological knowledge background. Students have a chance to use their creativity, communicate and collaborate with other students in their class online, and use problem solving and decision making skills.

Prompt #4
According to the Gretzky Principle, we as teachers should do our best to include as much technology in our classrooms as we can. Technology has come so far and there are so many different resources that can be used in classrooms through technology. I believe that in classrooms there should at least be computers. Kids need the practice using computers and there are many different online resources that are very educational. Beyond the use of computers I think iPads and iPods are a very good source of educational use. There are many different types of apps that teachers can download and use in their classrooms to reinforce what has already been taught. Besides the computers, iPads, and iPods there are other different forms of technology to use but in my opinion I think that these three are the most useful and can provide the most for the classroom.

Blog #2
Technology is very prevalent in today's classrooms. In most there is some form of technology for the students to be able to use. Either a computer, iPad, iPod, or tablet the students have access to the web and all of its uses. In my classroom I would have the students use the technology as often as possible because I think there are many resources online and applications that you can download and use for educational purposes. The students can each create a blogger website that they can put all different kinds of things on so that their classmates can view what they know/have learned and learn from it as well. Technology used in the classroom I believe can only benefit everyone who uses it.

Technology has had a huge impact on American society and popular culture in the past couple of years. Everyone is always on some form of technology and learning new things all of the time through technology. Technology also has effected the way teachers need to teach because students always want to be using technology. A lot of schools have started to use iPads, iPods, and computers so that students are able to use technology while learning something.
